Preview of tenfold 2017 R3 - new features at the end of the year
At the end of the year, tenfold 2017 R3 will be the last release for this year. At the beginning of next year we will present all new features in detail and show tenfold again in our regular webinars. We are already looking forward to the new features - with the editing of Exchange authorizations and the simplified installation and configuration routines, two features are now being implemented that will make our work much easier in 2018.
Edit Exchange permissions
Now authorizations for Exchange objects can not only be reported comfortably and clearly, but also changed. The administrator can use the simple drag & drop function that is already available from the file server area. But the self-service interface will also be expanded accordingly. For example, users can independently request permissions to shared mailboxes or public folders. The data owner of the folder in question then has the option of checking and approving the application. Setting the possibly forgotten absence assistant for employees of the department is also one of the new functions for superiors.
tenfold plugins
From now on, the configuration of tenfold will be much easier: in tenfold, all new functions, such as all connections to third-party systems, will now be displayed as easy-to-configure plugins. Standard processes will in future be configurable over the interface to 100%. The flexibility for which tenfold is well known is maintained and even enhanced by appropriate scripting exists. This will make even shorter implementation projects possible in the future.
New connector
A new interface to the Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) will allow user management on the market leader's widely used UC platform.
