- A graphic says more than 1000 words. In this way one can best represent and understand the relationships in AD. You can browse through the interactive graphics and thus "experience" the AD directly.
- Using the intelligent iSearch search, you can find a wide variety of objects and get started straight into the work. All objects from the AD and the structures on the included file servers are indexed. It can not be faster!
- The relationship between the resource and the existing permission types can be used to directly represent effective permissions. The advantage lies in the cross-group evaluation. All nested groups from the AD are resolved.
- This question comes regularly: "What can Mr. X access?". To fathom this is a real challenge. Not so with 8MAN. Evaluations of the complete systems in your home can be carried out within seconds. This is just one of the rich reporting capabilities of 8MAN!

After switching from Novell File System to MS NTFS, the listing problems were raised. 8MAN manages this without additional admin intervention, directly if you assign rights to a subdirectory. Authorization management on large file systems on several file servers of different business areas can not be provided by Microsoft on board. It does not work.
Without 8MAN you can only pray that nothing goes wrong. With 8MAN suddenly light is in the dark and everything becomes transparent. Error analysis is suddenly en passant.
How the whole thing scales is a miracle. Apparently it works - but hardly anyone can.
And the update mechanism is idiot-proof. Since admin-flavor is lost, because everyone can. So everything is round. Really Alternative.
