  • Network Requirements

    The default port for communication between 8MAN server, collector, and user interface is 55555. The port must be bidirectional so that the 8MAN components can communicate with each other. The default port can be changed by configuring the Xml configuration files of the 8MAN Server and Collector (then the 8MAN service must be restarted). You can then enter the changed port in the 8MAN user interface login dialog. For communication with Microsoft SQL Server®: www.microsoft.com
