tenfold 2018 Release Notes - Update v18.1.2

We are pleased to announce the availability of tenfold 2018 Update 2. The following improvements and new features are included:

New Features

• ISM-5812 Selection Lists tenfold authorizations sorted alphabetically
  The selection lists for tenfold authorizations are now sorted alphabetically.
• ISM-5890 performance improvement of the request list
  The performance of the request list has been improved.
• ISM-5779 Profile Overview of a Person: Text Improvement
  If a person has not assigned any profiles, "Person corresponds to the profiles" is no longer stated but "Person has no profiles assigned".
• ISM-5713 Management of look-up values ​​- enable sorting
  In the management of the lookup values, the table columns can now be sorted.
• ISM-5941 Person Type: Lock / Unlock / Delete Options
  New options for locking / unlocking / deleting people have been added and the existing ones better described. The options are only needed and displayed on new installations.
• ISM-5947 rules for user names
  Under a new menu item rules for user name suggestions and generation can be defined. This is only needed and displayed on new installations. It can also be configured for which resources the respective rules apply. The usernames are then checked by the respective resource-configured plug-ins in their respective systems.
• ISM-5950 Out of Office Notice: Support for HTML Templates
  The Out of Office Notes component now also supports the HTML format.
• ISM-5917 Profiles: New Features for Self-Service
  Profiles can now be assigned to a resource category under which they are displayed in self-service. Furthermore, pictures and detailed descriptions can be deposited.
• ISM-5914 Management of gender master data
  There is a new section for creating and editing gender records.
• ISM-6010 performance improvement of the Exchange Server page
  The performance of the "Exchange Server" page has been improved.
• ISM-5977 Scales images of resources, profiles, and Active Directory groups
  The images of resources, profiles, and Active Directory groups are scaled to a maximum width on each edit page.
• ISM-5665 Edit Resource - Approval Workflow: Restrict selection of request mode
  When you add an Approval workflow to a resource, only Request Mode records that apply to that case are now offered instead of all.
• ISM-4989 Share Active Directory Groups for Self-Service
  Active Directory groups can now be shared for self-service and assigned to a resource category under which they appear in self-service. Furthermore, pictures and detailed descriptions can be deposited.
• ISM-6028 Setup Tool: Automatic update of Java Runtime
  The setup tool for tenfold new installations and tenfold updates can now automatically install the Java Runtime or update it automatically in case of an update.
• ISM-5446 Improved description text for authorization selection
  In many selection boxes for selecting authorizations, "All authorizations" was also displayed if no specific authorization was required. This has been changed to “No Authorization Required” where applicable as this is the clearer description.
• ISM-5404 EXECs: Query Timeout for JdbcConnector
  With the JdbcConnector, which can be used in EXECs, it is now possible to define a query timeout.
• ISM-6037 resource / person provisioning steps: Additional setting options
  There are new options for provisioning of resources and person types. These are needed for complex dependencies.
• ISM-6001 Self-Service Direct Links
  Additional direct links to self-service pages have been implemented.
• ISM-5719 Deep nesting of resource categories is supported
  It now supports any number of levels of resource categories displayed in self-service. Each category can be used to control whether it should be displayed in self-service or whether resources contained therein should be displayed in a higher level. Even in the expert mode of editing a person resources are now found in any level, but only displayed in the top category for the sake of simplicity.
• ISM-5908 Remove no longer existing connectors
  When creating EXECs, connectors are still displayed in the list of connectors that no longer exist or are replaced by plug-ins. These should not be displayed in the future.

Bug Fixes

• ISM-5932 report for Active Directory groups does not show memberships
  In certain configurations, there may be no memberships displayed in the Active Directory Groups report.
• ISM-5935 Incorrect profile assignments for AD groups and multi-domain
  When creating AD group requests when assigning a profile, the rules for multi-domain defined in the profile are not taken into account.
• ISM-5965 Order of provisioning steps incorrect
  When saving the provisioning steps for a resource or person type, the order is not always saved as it is displayed.
• ISM-5983 organizational units: AD container selection leads to error page
  When editing an organizational unit, an Active Directory organizational unit inherits an error in the dialog.
• ISM-5986 Availability of resources is not checked correctly after creation
  For resources, field rules can restrict their availability. If you branch to the self-service area after creating the person, availability will not be checked correctly.
• ISM-5992 e-mail template can be saved even though default language is not filled
  You can save e-mail templates even though the default language is empty if the default language has already been filled.
• ISM-5995 Internal notification of absence is not set in Exchange
  The internal notification of absence, which is recorded in tenfold, is not set in Exchange. Subsequently, when setting the messages to an error.
• ISM-6007 Error on file server mask after unsuccessful deletion attempt
  If you try to delete a folder and the request fails, then you get an error page for the directory, if you want to edit the permissions.
• ISM-5785 Fileserver: New directory as data owner works for Baum

• ISM-5881 Fileserver: View after creation of a directory as data owner not current
  In data owner mode, the view is not up to date after a directory is created: subdirectories of the parent directory no longer appear.
• ISM-6025 Error during request approval and future implementation date
  In certain situations related to a future implementation date when a person is created, an error may occur when the page is requested to approve the request.
• ISM-5800 Fileserver: Incorrect display of the origin of authorizations with the same name
  With the same name of persons, the fileserver mask can incorrectly display the origin of authorizations.
• ISM-5782 “Comment mandatory” setting does not affect self-service
  The setting "Comment mandatory" for resources has no influence on the comment when requesting or changing a resource in self-service.
• ISM-5851 Self-Service: Requests can be made for blocked persons
  Although this is otherwise not possible and should not be possible, self-service resources can be requested for people who are locked out.
• ISM-5836 After the start of inheritance: edit directory crashes
  If you want to edit the directory after changing the inheritance of a directory, tenfold crashes with an error page.
• ISM-5953 Translation does not work if translation is missing
  If you want to edit a translation, where the translation for a language is missing, then the message-key is not preselected in the editing mask and you can not save the translation afterwards.
• ISM-5650 Display error in request history of directories
  In the request history of a directory, the EXEC history is displayed too small.
• ISM-5623 Missing translation leads to error message when sending e-mails
  If a translation for an e-mail template is missing, an e-mail should be generated stating that the language concerned is missing. However, there is an error creating this email.
• ISM-5647 Abandoned request can be approved via link
  Although a request has already been canceled, it can still be approved via an appropriate link from an e-mail.
• Approve ISM-6040 Request: Department can not be changed
  When approving a person request, the master data can be edited. However, in the department selection, only the current department is displayed, which means that the department can not be changed.
• ISM-6067 file server configuration for AGDLP2 incorrect
  In some rare constellations, in the AGDLP2 file server configuration (Global Group Users), the global group / domain tabs may appear twice while the local domain group tabs are not displayed.
• ISM-5959 export of existing report fails
  Exports of existing reports may fail under certain circumstances.
